Nearly a year off from any significant writing progress. It wasn’t entirely planned, I mean, the small boy was, but not the sickness that flattened me out during the pregnancy and now I’m back, mostly recovered and we’re all doing really well.
We had a small booth at Word On The Street here in Toronto, and it was a gorgeous, if a bit chilly kind of day. Sold a few books, talked to lots of people, met some other writers and it turned out to be a pretty good day all things considered.
Attended some writers panels and workshops at Dragoncon, as I felt I was floundering a bit putting plot elements together for the next books ( a side effect of the mental shutdown from the sick) and manned my booth there as well. Its been a hectic two months since the small boy, nicknamed “Bug” was born.
I can’t predict when the next two books will be done, but I’m going to try to finish them within the next 6 months, maybe less. They’re about half written where I stalled out, and had to stop work on them. It all depends on Bug’s napping schedule now…
